Women’s Study Gives Aspirin Makers a Headache!

The largest and best study recently completed after following a large, double-blind cohort of women for a mean of 10 years showed that those treated with 100 mg of aspirin experienced no fewer cardiovascular deaths, no reduction in heart attacks, and no reduction in death from any cause.

On the other hand, gastrointestinal bleeding requiring blood transfusion was more common in the aspirin group.
